The VIT Online MCA program follows a clear and structured exam process. Students are evaluated through internal assessments (30%) and a final exam (70%). Internal assessments include quizzes, coding assignments, and mini-projects conducted throughout the semester to track progress.
The final exam is held online and consists of MCQs, coding exercises, and descriptive questions to test both theoretical knowledge and practical application. The exam duration is 2 to 3 hours.
To pass, students must score at least 50% overall, combining internal and final exam marks. This system ensures they gain both theoretical understanding and hands-on skills, preparing them for careers in IT.
