ICAI May 2025 Exams Postponed over the Rising Security Concerns, New dates from 16th to 24th May 2025

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the postponement of the May 2025 exams due to the ongoing security concerns, due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan. The remaining papers of the CA Final, CA Intermediate, and Post-Qualification Exam (International Taxation Assessment Test – INTT AT), which were scheduled to be held between 9th May and 14th May 2025, have now been deferred.

It was confirmed by the Joint Secretary of Examinations, Anand Kumar, through an official announcement by ICAI. Earlier, on 13th January 2025, ICAI had released an important notification on its official website stating that, in light of the current security situation, the remaining CA exams scheduled between 9th and 14th May could be affected.  Then on 10th May institute has released the revised schedule of chartered accountants final, intermediate & INTT-AT (PQC) examinations, which are now set between 16th May and 24th May 2025.

According to the revised timetable provided in the official PDF notice, the Intermediate and Final course exams will continue in the same time slots as before. The Intermediate exams will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, while for the Final course, papers 1 to 5 will also be conducted from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and Paper 6 will run from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The updated schedule ensures that students have enough time to make arrangements and continue their preparation without confusion.

All candidates are requested to regularly check the official ICAI website for the latest notifications and any further updates regarding admit cards or other exam-related announcements.
